I wanted to re-install my old crappy computer fron XP to 98 but i know its a bit differance.
I have everything i need, a boot floppy and the Win 98 disc. What should i do next? Insert the floppy and just do as it says?

If this dont work make bootable cd for windows 98 and start your comp with boot from cd not from HDD 0. If this dont work just format your Xp and than instal 98

Its pretty slow sitting on a 250mhz comp. with Xp, wanted to try if it goes better with 98, sum peeps say so..

Yeah 98 works better on slow machines. The other think that is crappy in xp is the memory usage

Just boot from the cd drive with the Win98 cd in the drive. The boot disk is just that...a boot disk. The cd has all the good stuff on it. ( I use the words "good stuff" loosely)
