How much res does hell and NM take away? ~EXAMPLE: -40 for NM -45 for hell, Thanks ahead of time.

So negative... 170 all together, sounds like a bit to much.. Would need 245 res to get 75 in hell... dont sound right. Any other oppinions? >_>

no in nm mode it takes its -40 res and in hell -100 dont add the penalty for nm and hell together

The absolute minimum resistance is -100%. Resistance can never be lowered to below that value.
You don't add them up, it wouldn't be like -140% (seeing how the lowest it can be is -100%); in Nightmare your resists are just dropped 40%, and then in Hell they would be dropped an aditional 60%.

175 resists is all it takes for 75 resists in hell and for nm it takes 135 dont add them together their seperate
edit: ah crap jedi posted before me...any ways he and i are both right
