porn sites give you loadsa bad stuff. i used to have dialers from one site. the sites can download stuff like XXX toolbar, which is extremely annoying when it infects your pc.

Norton anti-virus 2005 is good IMO.

omgz hlap i hass virussss!!!!!!!!!!111111111

..norton also has a product called internet security which includes antivirus, firewall, and anti spam. i recommend it

Help Trojan!!! - Stifle_this - 08-30-2005

the only issue with norton is its expensive to those of us who dont have means to buy it(without jobs or other stuff), and you also have to keep renewing it, which i hate.

Help Trojan!!! - Warslut - 08-31-2005

If you have Windows XP just use the built in firewall and a good downloadable anti-virus, don't pay a dime and all I use, still clean.

Help Trojan!!! - jedimaster86 - 08-31-2005

If norton doesn't work, you could also try TrojanHunter Here; I tried it once and it seemed to find a couple of trojans that were actually in my computer; there is a free trial version that you can try out, and it'll let you get the latest definitions to look for the newest trojans out there; good luck man.

Help Trojan!!! - Stifle_this - 08-31-2005

ive actually used ad-aware to get rid of a few, because the program which downloads the trojans onto your comp is actually classified as adware. So if you find out where it is through that, you can delete the folder.

Help Trojan!!! - DaCougarMech - 08-31-2005

get ad-aware on download.com and search for it
i use it and my laptop is cleaner than a virgin

i just used the trojanhunter and it found 6 trojans and a few more things and deleted them without a problem. ive used norton and AVG free and sometimes they cant delete some of them. but tro.hunter deleted all it found so that passes my test.

Help Trojan!!! - Deadlyy-Guy - 10-11-2005

i use avg it catches trojans before they even hit my computer. and get a good firewall too, make sure it scans BOTH incoming and outgoing data transfers. i used blackice for a while before i realized that it didnt' check outgoing network functions so any trojans/worms/keyloggers that are already on ur computer are unaffected cuz all they're doing is sending information instead of recieving
