How to blend a render - pyrocrow - 10-15-2005

This may be a little off since I haven't been on p[hotoshop for a while, so if someone has any visuals they want to add since I can't, pm me.

Once you have all the brushing, text, and the picture in place you should be ready to go.

Pictures:
In the toolbox on the right, towards the top, is the lasso tool, click that and trace slightly around the picture where you want it blended. After tracing where you want, on the top toolbar, there is a box called feather. Enter into that box a number, the higher= more blended room(wider are) the lower the number= the less wide area blended. Once you have come to a consensus on the number, go down below all the semi-windows on the right. There should be a vector mask button. Click that. If you are unhappy with the amount blended, hit Ctrl+Z and reset the feather.

In list format:

-Right toolbox lasso
-Trace blended destination
-Feather box at top with number
-Vector mask at bottom right
-Ctrl+Z if unhappy

The only difference between that and text is my suggestion to lower the feather, or get a bigger radius around the text.

I'm sure at some point you got cunfused, keep in mind I did that off of 4 months memory.

I generally use no less than 5 and 15 at the absolute most.
