I took the source code, and made LOTS of changes and additions, to the point that mainly just some of the "original" pictures remain. Hero Editor V0.80 is the Complete Installation version that will automatically install any needed operating system files -- always install this first if you haven't used a previous version of Hero Editor. All present versions of Hero Editor support Non-Expansion (NOX) and LOD, for V1.09D, V1.10s beta, and V1.10 final patch. I recommend Hero Editor for most people. If you are playing Mod games, use the Udie Too editor. If you are using a Mac computer, use the Horadric editor. All of these editors edit the character files stored in your D2 Save directory (used for Single Player, Open, or TCP/IP games). When you are more experienced, try the Diabolic editor. It is for making changes to your character AFTER the character is loaded into a D2 game. |
