Opposition One - Lux Aeterna - 11-09-2005 I however am not sure at what or how many other states had this, but here in Maine (US) Oppoisition One was to pass > or decline gay rights laws. I voted Yes, (pass -- allow it) Just curious as to what ever one else's take on it is. Opposition One - Aemaeth - 11-09-2005 Eh. They can't decline gay rights laws anyway. against human rights act. Opposition One - [/sarcasm] - 11-09-2005 Unconstitutional law... I don't think it matters how many people vote to allow it/ban it, as Oresama said. Opposition One - DaCougarMech - 11-09-2005 be more specific. does this ban gay marriage? or rights of a gay couple to be legally recognized? Opposition One - Obfuscate - 11-22-2005 If they wanna ban gay marriage, which is clearly a religous based decision, then lets stop just blurring the church/state line and demolish it all together. Lets.....TAX CHRUCHES! Religon is a billion dollar business and all the tax on that money would sure be wonderful. Maybe it would hinder the churches ability to shield pedo-preists. So I say we ban gay marriage then keep marching on till the church/state divide is completely abolished and the US goverment is taxing churches. All hail death and taxes! |
