ok, i am making this thread because frater and i along with others differ on books. reitterating my question, frater what do you consider to be an adult book?. to any mods, expect mild flaming. i also want this to be a general discussion about the books or the movies for example the 4th movie comes out in a week

well i havent read any of the books even though i have 1 but you are right beholder harry poter isn't a childrens book nor a adult book, its a mix of both appealing to both classification since the books started from childish to quite violent ,its hard to say what type of book it is abd i'm still waiting on frater's description of an adult book -.-

Ya shaolin it is. I like the books probably as my favorite series. I haven't read the newest book yet, but it's definitly an adult/teen veered book.

Harry Potter chapters started from when he was a first year at Hogwarts and as he grew up so the books began to orientate to a more mature message.What i mean is that the book begins to be less for children and more for adults as the main characters in this book grow up.It starts with a childish story and it gets to a teenager`s story and so on.Personnaly i like very much(read all 5 chapters)

the most recent book was by far the best, and sadest, it was the book before it that annoyed me, it was mindless dribble constantly throughout the book. i cant wait for the movie, im taking my sister and couple of her friends to midnight madness
