Battle.net is Violating User Rights Petition!! - skidude - 11-20-2005

This petition is to signify us as a whole, those who disagree with Blizzard Entertainment & Battle.net for violating their own EULA and violating our rights as a user. Their new Warden module also violates our right to privacy, by scanning files on our computer and sending info back to Blizzard Entertainment. This info could potentially contain personal info such as your name, social security number, credit cards, or any number of other confidential personal information. This new scanning module they have developed also can ban legitament users of their service for simply using a virus scanning software which modifies the Microsoft Windows ntdll.dll which is not owned by Blizzard Entertainment, nor Battle.net, and as such they have no rights over this file what-so-ever! If you agree that Blizzard Entertainment & Battle.net are violating your rights as a user to use in accordance with the law, the software you have paid for the rights to use, then please sign this petition! Thank you! Sincerely,

The Undersigned

Hm... no offense, but since when did Bnet or any company ever change because of an online petition where signatures can, and probably were, faked.
Dont get me wrong, Im all against Warden and all that , but i doubt Bnet would care less [Screw u too Warden]

If whoever started this is not an experienced lawyer, or hasn't hired one, quit now before you make a fool of yourself. YOU violated what YOU agreed to, so stop trying.
Diablo II wasn't made so some guys who didnt like parts of it could hack it, and they finally were able to stop that. I love mh, and some aspects of DII i hate, but that's the game you paid for so just play it, without hacking to gain an advantage above other players. Blizzard does't give a care if u hack in single player, because your ALLOWED to. Warden is harch, but it's also the last resort, just admit u got owned and get on with ur lives. When blizzard owned me in 09, I just kept playing, because it's not the maphack I love, it's the game

Both of You are missing the point. The point of this petition is not whine by people who got banned, but to show that Blizzard is violating Your rights. I got banned for mh, that's got nothing to do with it.

Battle.net is Violating User Rights Petition!! - BlindMansTicket - 11-21-2005

If people wouldnt have violated their EULA in the first place, all of this wouldnt have been known of.

Battle.net is Violating User Rights Petition!! - FrogMan - 11-21-2005

point is not whether or not you you got banned for using a 3rd party program, its the fact that blizzard are also doing something that they should not be doing

Battle.net is Violating User Rights Petition!! - Mc_Blackzon - 11-21-2005

Battle.net is Violating User Rights Petition!! - Dan - 11-22-2005

Battle.net is Violating User Rights Petition!! - skidude - 11-23-2005

Battle.net is Violating User Rights Petition!! - BlindMansTicket - 11-24-2005

Why is everyone so god damned paranoid? Trafficing mass amounts of kiddie porn? Cracking high security websites? Don't want them to know that you only have 3 people on your AIM List?

Battle.net is Violating User Rights Petition!! - Meteor_Knight - 11-24-2005

1318th sig.
now, how many are needed for blizz to actually LISTEN?

Battle.net is Violating User Rights Petition!! - qweeve - 11-24-2005

Wasn't this covered in another post and the whole theory that blizzard was violating anything shot down? I believe so. Get over it. Anything blizzard is doing, we all agreed to allow them when we clicked "I Agree".
