Members Question - Khazador - 12-02-2005

I was just having a look at the members list to find someone, when i realised that the reason my search was long, tedious and boring, was because...well, there is like hundreds of people on the list whos acc's have ZERO, posts. I was just wondering if those accs get deleted after a certain time of inactivity or if they just stay on and clog up the servers... this has been on my mind since earlier today. So will theses accs be deleted because or should they be?

what are you guy's opinions????

Members Question - DaCougarMech - 12-02-2005

they used to be deleted regularly but i dont think they have been recently
a lot of people make accounts because they think they need it to download stuff and never use it again

A couple of non-used posts arent going to clog up the server, especially the new one. They will probably be deleted after a while, but they aren't really that big of a problem.

Yes i realise my "clog up the servers" remake was a bit much. but searching for a members name is kinda annoying with 20,000 unused accs listed, even some with acc names like "...", wtf? people really think they need to register to download??? lol wow people need to try things before taking every measure...

i'll move all the 0 post wonders that have been registered for over 15 days to a new usergroup "Inactive Members" and hide them from the user list...

EDIT: 8219 zero post wonders moved... I've set it up so that after they make a post they will be automatically upgraded to a regular member.
