Yeah, I say at least mid 70s to go into Hell...
I beat Nitemare at lvl 64, I want to get at least 75 before I attempt hell....

I have completed quests smoothly in hell before act5
in act5, the bloodlord just drain all my mana and i can't leech any from them

I don't think hell lords can cast IM or anything, but my secondary weapons are Bing Zs Wang (or whatever the hell its called) and Vile Husk for 6% Chance to cast level 1 Amplify Damage on striking and some poison.
I wail on them barely doing any damage but they freeze and their resistance disappears one at a time, then they're puppies.
Also "% damage goes to mana" on an item should keep a little bit of life left after the death blow they deliver.

Those Blood Lords are physical immune. To top that off, they do pretty good damage with frenzy. Chances are you deal with the Blood Lords with berserk while they pummel you. Reaper's Toll on an Act 2 Holy Freeze merc is one way of dealing with them.
