LOL. I am going to buy me a microcontroller for my cammaro and am going to program in the language of C to produce an output on a character screen hooked up where my ashtray is.(I dont smoke and its bad anyway.) Well my program is going to measure how much gas is left and the temperature of it. Totally pointless because you ca buy a part to show that but the fact is, i am going to do it myself and it wiull be an experience. It wouoold be cool to show how much gas i have left underneath my radio. WHat are your ideas. No Flaming because this is just an experience but i thought it would be a good idea

isnt that what the fuel gauge is for? i think id be cooler to have a different thing listed other than gas.. but they already have gagues for everything these days so its kind of pointless but if you can think of anything else, then that would be a better idea than gas.

Good luck, Never tryed puttin anything in but a shift light once. but something u might wont to think about. Make your camaro like a **** pit of a Jet. have like 50 gages and toggel switched ever were it will be pimp.

Lol. ive junked the idea because i have started the program for a seedeomter under my stereo. Since my dash displays in a gauge rather thatn a digital output i will make a digital output. It would look better to. And Juke my car already has 5 toggle switches in it to statr various things

how about getting some nice speakers and an amp and wiring that up, that's actually worth the trouble. You can have an amp boost switch under your radio. You could probably install a mp4 player too. What year camaro, you don't have the girly type do you? >_< I know alot of people who know alot about cars and i go to votech were they offer all kinds of training on cars. Ask me some questions and i'll try to get answers for you.

Well In my 67 camaro I have moded the dash with all digital guages. I have a rpm tack on the dash with what we call a idiot light lol. I have added gauges along the coloum on the side above the dash but hooked onto the support for the windsheild.
for oil pressure, water temperture, and a few others.
I do have switches for all my pumps just incase something starts a fire you want to be able to shut off everything so you dont loose everything. I have a blown 396 4bolt main. with a cal induction hood. I was thinking over doing a over head cam but i would have to mod it for my dual carbs lol. If you need info on how to add guage's let me know.
