I think that Your key gets unbanned after like 3 years or so, if it's Your first offence. So yeah, either cough up 20 dollars or wait for 3 years.

There is a way of playing in some servers if you're VAC2 banned, I don't have time at the moment, but I'll post it later. I've never tried it, but supposedly it works...

If its your first offense.. you are banned for 1 year.. Yea.. I got banned for a year a while back.. I've learned my lesson about hacking.. But the good thing is... I didnt have to pay 20$ extra to play again.

When you get VAC Banned the ban expires in 3 years, provided its your first offense.
