Does a safe way to do this actually exist? I read the FAQ and they say to get a mod to help you trade anni's and uber charms - I might be trading one in the next few days and was wondering how I could go about this?

That is pretty much the only safe way to trade anni's and torches is by a mod, you can do that by PMing one and he will help.
