I want to start playing online on Battlenet..but.. I have a few questions.
How do you make your character HC setting? Just click the LOD HC ladder, then click Join....are those HC games? Help?

Is it just going on and finding a random game to join, starting where you are at in the game?

I see the checkbox for Exp and Ladder.. but I don't see the HC checkbox anywhere?......

You cant make hardcore chars in single player so you have to be on battle.net, you cant miss it, it says Hardcore.

Well...I connected to Bnet. It connected, char screen up with the thing saying USWest on the top right, blah blah. Clicked Create... under the diff classes it gave the red warning about activity for 10 days blahblah.. clicked on random class, and typed in a random name. And below the name.. it just had Ladder and Expansion
Are there certain prereq's to play HC? Like, having a char a certain lvl, etc?

Well on Single Player you had to of beaten normal if I recall correctly [plz correct me if I'm wrong] , never knew it was the same on bnet though, either way, the option for HC should be there, wheter you can choose it or not

On B.Net you have to have a character that's gone through any difficulty... after that creating a new character will have the [ ]Hardcore avalible

yes you have to have a characer hat's beaten normal first. if you just started playing diabloII and you wanna play online i wouldn't suggest playing HC though. idk i never liked hc much, you could have godly gear then die and lose it all, and if you don't have good gear, easier to die too.
