ok well when i try to upload an image to host on image shack so i can post it here i get this error: only chose a file supported by this type(or something like that) so i can't upload images. i saved in a folder in my pictures. did i do something wrong?

What is the extension on this file you are trying to upload (ex .jpeg, .gif...)? Also, maybe a screenie (if you can upload that, heh) could help of the error message or whatever.

untitled-4.psd so extension is psd right? can i change the extension? and if i take a screenshot where do i retrieve it in photoshop directory?

you have to open it and click Save as>then change the type (under the name in the save as window) to Jpeg

Change the type to JPG, GIF, BMP, JPEG or PNG. All are supported by ImageShack (maybe more too)

If possible, use .JPG or .JPEG, they're the smallest type, making the images load faster, and if you use Photobucket, generally if it's in one of those two extensions Photobucket won't re-size it for being too big.
