How do you get caught using a bot ? - GrimReap3r - 04-26-2006 Ok ... so I have found that great bot I was searching for and now I'd like to know how do the admins catch you while using a bot ? The server is a 1.10 PVPGN, not Europa or any other server like that. The data is the following : - 1 pindlebot (d2jsp) with the next characteristics : * games name - "asda" * games password - "sad" * run time - 30-40 seconds / pindle - 1 PVPGN 1.10 server - 1 admin I made about 100 pindles manually, the same like the bot does ... and for the moment nothing has happened. Anyway ... I'd like to know how do the admins figure out that you are using a pindlebot and you're not doing mf manually ? Please do reply. How do you get caught using a bot ? - Stalker7d7 - 04-26-2006 Game goes to fast, add some more too it, make the run time to be 180+ B.net has it set so that if you are joining/leaving too much too fast you will get 5 min rd, and if its really bad then just 30min-2hr rd, and if when u can get back on you start doing it again, like bots are programmed to, it will rd you for 12 hr or so... so, run more scripts How do you get caught using a bot ? - GrimReap3r - 04-27-2006 as i said, it's not for battle.net, it's for a pvpgn server, where you don't get rd ... you either play with the bot and don't get caught, either get caught and get lock account / ban ip ![]() and, in order to avoid the locking of my account / ban ip, I'd like to know what must be done to "trick" the admin ![]() How do you get caught using a bot ? - DarkZeb - 05-02-2006 well its the whole repeditive thing that admins look for anyway, so add somthing to throw them off, different names, diff wait lengths, somthing random the bot might do in game. As even when someone is mfing they arn't completely repeditive each time, (and if they are they proberly deserve to be banned) |
