i've been hearing a lot about bugged exiles lately. i've seen some with over 1400defense but i heard they can go around 1800 defense. but i figured out if you get 15% enhanced defense then you could get around 1400 but 1800? can you even get 15% enhanced defense on a vortex shield or can you only get enhanced damage? and if so, how would you make bugged items now adays in diablo?

You find an eth non Sup Non socketed armor, In this case shield, and then socket it using the cube recipe, it bugs and gets 50% more defence than before, for example. a 500 defence shield will become 750. And any Superior can get 15% of Defence.

oh i see. sounds good if your gonna make merc gear like socket an eth ap for fort. but don't you not kow how many sockets you item will get when you put in your cube? so you could end up with only 1-3 sockets and be screwed right?

Yep, you could end up with 1 socket, but like 5/6 times its max.
