ok now i've downloaded stings and followed everything i was told from the guids. but it doesn't work. it won't show anything. i get an alert saying game is not being run or somthing like that. i'd like it to work if you can help me thank you much.

Post a screenshot of the error and your Stings maphack options please. You can take a screenshot by pressing Printscreen and pasting into an image program and saving. I don't suggest saving as a BMP becuase it will probably be too large to upload.
You can upload the image online at ImageShack and post a link to your image or use IMG tages. Use the direct link to image that ImageShack gives you.
