KuA Private 1.10 Realm - Tool - 06-13-2006
Tired of laggy B.net? Tired of scammers and spam bots?
Then I suggest to you KuA, a private 1.10 realm that is growing slowly but surely.
Some of the benefits of KuA:
- Maphack allowed
- Botting allowed (assuming you can figure it out)
- Exp boosts in certain spots
- Boosted MF drops
- Boosted Rune drops
- Increased stash and cube sizes
- Harder monsters
- 7 attribute points a level
- Ladder runewords
- 1.11 Uber Tristam in 1.10 Patch
- 20 SoJs to pop DClone
- Characters don't expire so if you want to take a break go ahead and come back to your chars still being there!
- 18 chars per account
Here's how to join:

Register and request an account to be made for the realm in this forum:

Convert back to 1.10:

Read this post to learn how to set up D2 to go into the private realm:

After you do that install these two patches in the following order:
1. http://www.box.net/public/6es7n65x44
2. http://www.box.net/public/p9ee72rx40
You must do it in that order.
After you have all of this you will not be able to play D2 on the Battle.net realm unless you uninstall and reinstall.

There's about 20 pretty active members right now. They're all nice and usually willing to help out. People don't charge for rushes and you can get rushed to hell in about an hour for free.

20 people doesn't sound like too too much but maybe it will pick up some steam. i'm not playing d2 right now but i will definantly consider playing on here when i start again(few months cool-off period from d2)

2 things:
Who's server is this running on? If we get a good flow of active people, I don't want to start experiencing INHUMAN lag, as you would if it were running off of some slapped up server in some kid's basement. How reliable is it?
Are you prepared for the Blizzard backlash? I mean, really. They don't take kindly to user servers. Granted, the WoW ones still make it past their keen eye.
You should put together some sort of a system where we can make a d2 patched exe so that if we want to play on bnet and your server, we have an easier way of switching between the two.

First off. It's not my server. So I don't know all the details of it. That's a question for the admins. I'm pretty sure if lag became an issue they'd fix it, though.
Second, I'm pretty sure the only person who knows how to code is Jeff (one of the admins) but I don't know if he can code something like that... That'd be a Jeff question.

I am a mod for the forums, Killablp is the server admin and he runs it, i do play here too but not that often, i think it is a good place to be, like tool said, everyone is nice here.
Edit: You don't have to code anything to play on both realms, Copy your d2 folder and put it somewhere else, and install the 1.10 stuff to operate KuA. Then save your d2folder again and save it somewhere else, to go back to 1.11 just copy and paste over the d2folder. This is how im doing it.

Only bad thing about that realm is that you cant make your own acc´s and not menny ppl are active on the forums .. else than that its great ^^ ( Still waiting for an acc >.<)
