Ww tank barbs are probably the best barb for pvp, they are pretty good at pvm but frenzy barbs are better for pvm, they mow things down alot faster.

PvP barb must be a ww barb with 2 botd and en eni. You tele near your enemy and with 1 ww he is down. Except if he is a smite or a hammer maybe...

A well builtm WW barb is best for pvp, perf ebotd,nigma/fort. A well built con barb is best for pvm in my opinion. He wont be too fast at kill a group of monsters, but it pays off becasue you'll never be interrupted during a attack. And its a much better attack for bosses.

Grief + Beast do much, MUCH more damage than 2xBotd.

Screw that, a pvp barb without a shield is a joke. Without a SS you lose alot of damige reduction, plus you'll pretty much take a hit EVERY time somone does anything to you. So you die 4 times as easy.

You cannot be more wrong. The only barbs that use SS are BvB (Verdungo + SS = 50%DR) and sometimes versus Bow amas. Zealers are a joke, Whirlwind > Fury Druid, versus Smiters you won't need block, versus Wind Druids, use CoaBerBer, Verdungo and Enigma, which will give you max DR as well.

It's perfectly simple. There are 3 barb builds for PvP and those are bva, bvb and bvc. All of them use different equipment dependant on who they are dueling (Only bvb has definate eq).

A shield can save your life against anyone, tell me how your going to kill a foher or a hammerdin with your frenzy barb. When I had a ww tank barb (BvB) I could kill pretty much anything, so saying I was BvB was pointless because I could kill frenzy barbs and anything they could kill. Perhaps not as fast, but I'd still win. The only thing I changed when I wasent fighting other melee was I'd put enigma on for the teliport because the extra damage given by fort wasent needed.

Dude, you don't seem to know shit about dueling. What's a shield going to do versus FoH or hammers? Both are unblockable damage (only a Druid has absorb hammers with his wolves, or an Assassin with claw block). Also, you will not need DR% versus hammers (unblockable magic damage) or FoH (unblockable lightning damage).
And Frenzy barbs, holy shit. That's not a PvP build. Frenzy barbs can easily get annihilated by Tal's sorcs. Any self respectable PvP barb build (bvc, bva or bvb) can easily obliterate a Frenzy barb. If you kill Frenzy Barbs, it's still bvb, by the way (bvb = barbarian versus barbarian).
Obviously you have not dueled any proper builds, if the only part of your equipment that you change is the armor. If you have standarb BvB equipment and you only change Forti to Enigma, you will have 0%fcr, meaning that you will not be able to catch any self respectable caster.

Just so this doesn't get offtopick, the most damage is done by a grief(34+ias)+beast ww barb. The avarage damage is about 37500 per second if you have 100% chance to hit and 0% deadly strike

Did they change hammers and foh in .11? I distinctly remember being able to block both of them. If it does'nt block them then I'm not sure how I was able to kill them. I gota get Silver Ice in here he made a barb that was pretty much the same as mine only he had more 320s and was like 7 levels higher.
That damage could be correct but the faster you move the less time they are in your WW so I'm not sure how good it would really be. If you can manage to have somone stay in your ww for a second that would be insane. Pvp is reduced by 1/6 so thats like 6k damage a second.
I'm not just saying all of this, all I built for the last 2 years of playing d2 was barbs, I quit a few months back.

duel axed barbs w/ 10max/ar/life gcs will mow down any in PvP or PvM. beast plus grief or ebotd works best for most. against other melee chars replace grief or ebotd with doom. smiters get owned by beast w/ doom. i personally like enig better than fort for the str and surprise tele attack. tele to their back and ww through them.

Only ba smiters get owned by doom, it doesn't affect pb smiters.
You are a noob if you n doom vs smiters cos they are ez with a ww barb anyway.
Grief+beast = pvp
Botd+beast = pvm (you need botd because of mana leech mostly and i wouldn't recommend dual leech/mana leech rings)

just use last wish and beast thats a good combo if you want to be a bvc and get a coa and enigma thats very good becuase when you land fade you can throw on hot spurs and youa immune to fire and such but thats just for bvc
