I personally think its not worth it to pay a monthly fee to play a video game.

I think it is stupid, you already gave them money for the game, if the game was solid the sales from the selling of the game should cover the server costs and still keep their pockets heavy.

i don't mind. If its the main thing you play and you have a lot of free time on your hands why not. I actually want to save my money and my parents aren't awesome like your so i'm sticking with free games. And it does cost money to maintain high-end servers so it makes sense. If I hadn't been playing diablo for years I would pay per month to play that if there was no hacks/bots/lag/lines/glitches. But they'd also have to actually keep up and keep adding patches etc too though.

i guess you guys didn't see the post where the guy told us you how to play WoW for free did you?

Running servers = $$.

Complaining about fee's for playing MMOG's in which the game developer/publisher hosts the servers is absolutely redicilious. It costs a large amount of money for all the bandwidth, hosting, and server equipment required for such MMOG's as World of Warcraft or Lineage.
Another reason I appreciate the 'Pay to Play' policy is that, it is really a smacktard filter. If people are playing just to jerk around online, they are really losing money. If you've played any 'pay to play' games, you know there is alot less smacktards online.

**** P2P, Buying the game is enough. The companies make enough money from having the game's bought, and then when people get cd-key's stolen, or banned, people buy them again anyway's. It's just plain pointless. laugh:
