Virus Removal Instructions - Warslut - 04-24-2004
First off, if you can move the virus to anyweres, make a new folder on desktop, move it there, reset comp and delete ^_^
These might help answer alot of questions on virus's/trojan/adware, not exactly sure if it will work 100% of the time but it will work most of the time
1st: If you KNOW you have a virus, do a virus scan asap, if your scanner isn't working goto an online virus scanner( Click here for free online scanner ) After you've done that and it shows you the virus(s) you have, goto the directory there located, find it and delete. If this doesn't work... goto next step
2nd: Right click on My Computer icon and goto proporties, click on the System Restore tab at the top, and click a check marc on Turn System Restore Off, then reset computer and hold down F8 key until a list of names pops up, find safe mode and go down to it and press enter(you can open safe mode or safe mode with networking[intenet], doesn't matter)once there try and delete the file again, if that doesn't work... try next step >_>(MAKE SURE TO TURN SYSTEM RESTORE BACK ON ONCE YOU'VE DELETED VIRUS OR GIVEN UP lol...)
3rd: If that doesn't work(any error pops up[can't delete]) then goto your command prompt (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt)
Once there if it says C:\Documents and Settings> just type cd\ and press enter, then it will look like this C:\>, now lets pretend the virus is in your diablo II folder and is called... uhhh... Free_Sex_Downloader.exe ((lol))if thats were your virus is and thats what its called, in the command prompt once you have [ C:\> ] there type "del program files\diablo ii\free_sex_downloader.exe" (without "" of corse...)
and then if it says "error deleting, being used by another program" or any other error close command prompt
If you'r running Windows XP, Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, once you've done that click on the Processes tab, the look for the file your trying to delete, if you see it there, click on it and press End Process, once done that goto the file containing the virus and try and delete again. If that STILL doesn't work then there's probubly some other program running that virus, or... well i'm lost
Oh, if you have a worm, and you tried this and can't delete it, goto www.Symantec.com and click on downloads then goto virus removal tools and look for the virus you ahve and download the tool, and give it about 5-20 mins and poof, shes gone.
(Take that you dirty ****er)I'm just a rookie and ****** tired of virus's, i cant stand them and have NO ****ing idea in there point... anyways sry if that complicated or if u need any help PM me, or ask in this forum, i really hope it helps and such
Also helps to do windows updates, ( Click here for windows update ) get as many critical updates done as you can, of corse i can't becasue i need a legit cd key haha =( poor me...

Hehe, I stick to not having viruses on any of my computers. Keyloggers won't kill me, they'll kill the person recieving the text.
