I downloaded StealBot so I can have a bot op in my own channel with trivia and have it tell whoever is in the channel where I am incase I am doing baal runs or something.

But, I don't even have ops in the channel. How do you get ops in a D2 channel? I read through the help commands and couldnt seem to find anything to get ops, just what do with ops if you already have it.

Ok, with my bot, it is in channel op bzsbaal, my bots name is bzsbaal, therefore it gets op, understand?

can i get a link to this stealbot or w/e is it detectable?

Chat Ops - Shift - 07-02-2006

Stealth bot is a channel bot, you cannot get banned from it.

i have a questoina bout it so i chose the name of it and if i put it in op it will take form on operator?

Chat Ops - Shift - 07-02-2006

Yes, name it buyi and put it in op buyi and it will be Op.

Chat Ops - skidude - 07-02-2006

if you make an account named blizz and u put the bot in op blizz it would

Chat Ops - foameh - 07-02-2006

Hah, well my bot's name is foamehbot. So, I think I'll be renaming him, cause the channel foamehbot would just be gay Tongue

*edit*
Well, I made an account name opfoameh and joined the channel opfoameh and I still don't have ops there. This is a SC account I am making it on... what else could I be doing wrong?

Chat Ops - Lucifer - 07-03-2006

hmm you need a space between Op (your name) if your not already doing that. And as far as I know it works the same on all of blizz's Bnet games so it wouldn't make sense for one not to support the OP stuff.

I cant make a SC account with a space in it.

The channel name needs a space, is what he meant.

Your bot's name is "dog," so your channel name is "op dog."

Get it?

i thought blizz games other than d2 used "clan" for operator channels
