i have put everything in the d2 directory but what i try to run it it errors and says
"Could not find/open d2launch.dll" plz help me someone

D2launch.dll comes with the game...
I'd say just reinstall D2

Yeah you're best bet is to reinstall the game..if that doesnt work...then try getting that .dll file off of a friend or something.

u dont do that.. if u dun have it or it isnt right u cant run it reinstall.. all it takes is just to click it and press install..

first of all dude dont listen to what anyone else has said here all the other posts are nonsense...
The reason you're getting that error is because YOU HAVE TO FU**ING QUIT D2
before install. Did You Even Read The Read Me? WHY U THINK ITS CALLED READ ME?
LISTEN- You extract the 4 needed files into you d2 dir then make sure d2 is not running then double click the file called DIASETUP then join a game and its on, er i should say host a game.

ok i have a question i was in a diabolick game and edited my stats and stuff i cant get my skil level over 99 and it didnt keep my stats do i need to dl the mod to keep it and if so woudl i have to re enter my stats everyhting i joined a new game

yea i had the same prob, didn't realize i left my d2 running an thought i was havin some prob. u have to exit the game THEN run setup. and btw it doesnt say in the readme to quit d2
