why is my stash small, why can't i equip my hirelings at all?
im playin on expansion, i'm playin 1.11b.

Press "O" and your merc screen should show up. If not, you must somehow think you're playing expansion but really are playing Classic.
And as for the stash, post a pic; if there's this huge doorknocker-looking thingy (i think that's what it looks like) on top and the stash is just like 16 spaces then, once again, you're probably playing Classic.

can you pick Druid or Assasin classes? if not upgrade into LOD lord of destructoin thats probably why. if you are on lod try reinstalling it

Umm it must be that the files weren't installed properly..So try reinstalling it, And like Invisible said See if you can make assasins or druids. And if not that means your still on classic and you need to reinstall it again...but no worries it happenes to everybody once in a blue moon so don't stress it..because i had the same problem before.
P.s Delete the diablo2 file you installed and reinstall in again. Make sure it's deleted and then reinstall.

EDIT: problem solved. i had to convert the character to expansion, since i created the character on classic. thanks for your help.

.. or make sure you SELECTED lod expansion char man you can still be playing classic make sure it said EXPANSION in green
