Well I just recently wen't to the beach and came back, and everyones been banned, I haven't used stings for like a whole week and my account is fine.
So I'm wondering Is it safe to use it?, was this mass bannings because of botters or maphacks?.... And I wan't exact if you where using a bot + mh you can't which one was detected.. so if anyone was banned from using stings please inform me.

I was using stings, and i wasn't banned.
Only people I know that got banned were d2jsp users and mousepad.

All of the Sting users that were banned were also using D2JSP.
I can tell you right now, unless Blizzard revamps their map system, which wont happen without a massive patch, Stings without plugin will NEVER be detected!
The way Stings works (looks at town and surrounding area and knows what map it is, freezes game and fills in map) it will never be detected unless the number of map possibilities are increased by Blizzard (big patch), or they make it randomized (HUGE lag and MASSIVE patch).
I can tell you right now: Stings is safe unless there is a new big patch released in Blizzard that specifially changes the way the act maps ate changed.

Sting's reveal map option could be detected is the warden was running, since the hack still has to send the packet to get the map. The possibiliy is very very slim that blizzard could detect sting's reveal map, but it still could happen.

Here's my situation: one account I used both jsp and Sting's and it got closed. Another account was closed too and the only hack I used on that account was Sting's with reveal act only. No botting was ever done on that account and it still got banned. My two other mule accounts were not closed; I didn't use any hacks on those whatsoever.

They proably IP banned all of your accounts. But I'm gonna try and use stings now and see what happens

Yeah can we get a confermation of any1 being banned for just using sting not sum1 with 1 botting acct and 1 non botting acct. Just any using sting only?
If it helps any1 i know 2 people both had 2 accts both used mmbot and stings neither were banned.

The thing is, even if they change the map system, will it hurt Stings? All that it will do is go "omg, I've never seen this before" and error. It freezes the game and warden before doing anything, although there is a slim chance I really do highly doubt that Stings reveal will ever go down.
All you people are complaining, everyone knew Ep\Jsp was detectable, yet people said "well they aint banning us so lets keep using it!" You were warned - got what u deserved.
