Luke! Counter for my site!! - xBlitzerx - 04-19-2003

Hey, first off, thanks alot for the awesome changes to our forums!!

I haven't been on much lately, i just finished exams. So i'm all done school for summer now. Which means i should be on alot more.

But now with the link to us on your main site. I wanna set up a counter on my main page. just so i can have an idea of how many hits i'm getting.

I'm gonna try to add one with frontpage, but i dunno if its gonna work or not...

Any ideas?

bravenet has a counter for free, I use that but there are counter scripts that have more info, for instance the one in phpnuke or vbportal. There are also some java script counters that work but do not provide what os or web browser or ip or other stuff, just a plain old counter, Iv seen some counters that show hits throughout a 10 year lifespan ... It shows the highest amount of people on at one time and lowest and a bunch of other stats but I cant recal where I saw that. But the bravenet one has a 6 month coverage so its fine for me.

I use counted.com for d2sector and these forums... Ya didnt know that did ya?.. hehe.. try and find the 1x1 pixel image...
hint: down the bottom of the page somewhere

They give good stats such as averages, unique visits, reloads, forcasted impressions, OS, resolution etc etc.
