Okay I found amethod of getting DC to spawn in single player....but as far as i can see its not workin.
Here's what i did....
Opened up d2_patch.mpq and exported monstats.txt and levels.txt
I put them in the directory C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Data\Global\Excel
I opened them with excel and edited the "isspawn" for DC and made it 1
I saved that and opened up levels.txt, and i changed the values for mon1, nmon1, and umon1 to diabloclone instead of brute1...i saved and then made a shortcut to diablo 2 with the added: -direct -txt
supposedly this should make him spawn in the cold plains area but i havent seen him once...ive gone back and tinkered a bit using mon2, mon3, and mon4 but none have worked...
can anyone help me figure out whats wrong or tell me another way to spawn DC in solo play?

You need all the text files in the patch_d2.mpq in excel (folder). And you right click your shortcut to diablo ii, and put -direct -txt at the end of the target.

he did do the shortcut -direct -txt thing in there matt-thybrave... sheesh, dont you read?
anyway, as far as i know, diablo clone only spawns from a unique monster. so find a unique monster and voila! if that doesnt work then do some more tinkering.

http://free.hostultra.com/~dclone/dclonemod.zip is location. Also, read above how to get working. The clone spawns in a boss pack hidden in cold plains, and maybe blood moor. Find him in normal.

lol, one problem. doesnt the dclone in bossmods (bosspacks) make dclone appear from every monster? that means you will have like 50 dclones on you = instant death.

no, this method just spawns a pack of about 5. Just one.

I dunno what exactly the prob was, but with all the txt files in the excel dir and by replacing fallen shaman for cold plains, i got a big ol pack of super tuff diablo clones, and they drop nice too

Want them to drop better? Go to the last couple of columns and find ROP or something. Change all of them to Baal (H).

Eh, I'm having trouble getting the zipfile to download. I get the error message that the file cannot be found, or when I rightclick on the link and save-target-as, the zipfile's empty O_o

Just download an mpq viewer, view d2_patch.mpq export all the txt files to diablo ii/data/gloabal/excel and then edit them accordingly....

If I were able to do that, I would. But without a mpq viewer, and not knowing the first thing about excel, plus time considerations from having to do stuff like work....

bah sox...i cant get the freakin dclone if i tried...o well...i only gotten it once on closed and my friend gave me the anni it dropped. anyway y would u wanna fight dclone? use hero editor and u can make a charm 1000000000times better then anni and since u cant lose any hp dclone jus b like a zomb in norm
