I forgot how it works for nm and hell socket quest on weapons and armor.. Like i think hell gives one extra socket or something( 4 os instead of 3) or maybe thats backwards? Anyhow i need some knowledgable ppl to help me out and set me straight on how it works please... Tyvm

its all about the armor man... if the armor has max sockets like 3 it will sock to 3 ( mage plate has to be WHITE)

normal-nm-hell socket quests give the max sockets 4 that item
so like a white archon plate would give 4 sockets

if the iLvl on a max 4soc armor is 1 i think, it will get 3 sockets (the only way to get that is to use cube to fix a cracked/damaged armor)
