i was wondering... why don't you place stat points into energy as a necromancer? Most guides i've read say not to place stat points into energy, and was questioning that. If you didn't raise your energy like you say, then after 1 or 2 poison nova/poison explosion/corpse explosion/ Fire golem/etc... wouldn't you have to use a mana pot to regenerate your magic?

most of your mana and energy points come from items. So, no, you shouldn't have to pot after a couple casts.

at lvl 80~ u have more than enough mana to last u long enough, and mana pots never hurt anyone, why not use them?
also, its a much better investment to put pts into vitality because a necro has such low life, u need every stat point u can get

sojs+hoto+others should give you enough. put it this way, would you rather go down to 0 mana or 0 health, right?

Exactly, at least when you run out of mana you'll be able to run back into town with that1.5 staminia per Vitality point or w/e hehe

a question about stats - Syntax_Errors - 09-05-2006

Yeah that would work. High vitality definately + with items you may get a %damage taken = mana, +% to max mana or all the above stated.

---->Yay for mana pots!

well, i've always just used to build vitality and energy evenly, and also used equipment that helped out my health & mana problem when i wasn't working on any specific builds. Oh well, whatever works for you guys

like they said, insight+items will take care of you. you get so many stat points+ percent increase off your gear probably it won't matter anyways.
