20 RS
20 SM
20 CE???
Im gonna use like 20 pts alone in prereqs

Basically, this necromancer is going to be doing Baal, CS, and Tristram.

I dunno how useful CE is for trist or stuff. Does it warrant 20 points?

What about revives? How come every build I see says to put like 5-10 in it? Why not max it? Do I want bone wall and bone prison maxed for bone armor, and to use bone prison in case I PVP?

Also, I found a deaths fathom, no joke, in a trade game (ran pindle). Its unid. What the HELL do you necros do for resists? I see 15 res in shako from um, 19 in homunch from p diamond, and 20-30 in maras. What then?

well I don't know how you get 20 in prereqs but you should only put 5-10 in revives because revives can get stupid and you should get about 10+ to skills from equipment. putting 20 into ce will only give it higher radius which is good if you have that 20 to spend otherwise 10 works well too. you can also gain from putting about 15 into golem mastery and clay golem because clay golems have highest hp potential therefore making good tanks. You shouldn't require resists since your summons should be taking the hits. And for bone armour, see last sentence.

CE is a one-point wonder. The +skills you gain from your gear should do the trick, the more points you put into CE the more mana it drinks down.

Also forget PvP'ing. Summoners suck at it.

Looks like this summoner is gonna be like my last Druid summoner. Place 40ish points and then keep another 40 waiting to be spent as I indecisively try and figure out where Ill place em.

Again, why wouldnt I spend 20 ish points in revives? If I can increase the number of revives for each point, why WOULDNT you max it? I dont know what you mean by "revives can get stupid". Like, when there are 10+ of revives, alot of em just sit there?

Summoner skill help - A.D. - 09-19-2006

Revives get troublesome. Each skill level gets you another revive, though if you have it maxed +skills it can be over 30 revives, and to keep the number at the max you have to constantly be reviving becuase they die after 3 minutes.

Then what would you recommend for my skills? Is a golem with a lot of life truly necessary? Just seems like Id have so many monsters that the likelihood of that particular golem receiving hate (and actually tanking) is very very little.

Extras in bone armor.

At least, if that is what you are willing to devote to it. Bone-Armor is an all or none deal. And if you don't know already, adding to bone wall/prison yields a better absorb bonus then adding to bone armor itself.

OK, so Im spending 13 ish points in skills as prereqs

20 RS
20 SM
20 BW
20 BP
1-5 CE
1-5 Revive

Sounds about right, right?

This build is starting to turn out to sound just like the one I've been working on since day 1.
