Embedding stuff into pictures - Tiras - 10-02-2006

This is a simple little trick you can do with the command prompt in Windows.

Okay, here's what you do. (Watch the little animation)

For those of you who don't feel like sitting through that, here's the process in a nutshell.

1. Put the file you want to embed and the .JPG into a folder, or your C drive.

2. Open up the command prompt by going into the Start menu, selecting Run, and then type "cmd" into the prompt.

3. Now that you're in the command prompt, type this:

C:\>copy /b imagename.jpg + filename.rar/mp3/wav/etc... output.jpg

5. A new file named "output.jpg" should appear in the same directory as your original file and .JPG were in. You can rename the new file to anything you want.

cool! that means i can imbed a program and if someone opens it! i have all control!!!!

meh i wont do it cause of moral issues but ill do it if i have to hehehehe!

nice guide... the downside is that people unlike me can do that and trash d2sector if there not careful or something
