In about to go get myself a new LOD key to start up some d2 chars again but im wondering if its worthless. If theyre gonna do a reset in the new few months it seems like I should wait.
What do you guys think?

Get the disks, play around and figure out how you want to start the next ladder. Have a plan in place like most of us do already.
