I've never had trouble with torches poofing or anything. So yes like blood said it is highly doubtful.

its hard to dupe torchs, because you can only carry one torch at a time. but high,perf annis are the ones that are duped daily

If it's Europe ladder, then no, it's a regular trade. Assa torches are not very valuable nowadays (unless perf).
