well like most of you should know by now, and if you dont, look at my sig, i'm lvl 56 and rank 6. next rank i can start getting pvp tier 1. should my main goal right now be trying to get pvp tier 1 full set or getting to 60 quick and trying to get in endgame raids? obviously i am going to work towards both, i'm just trying to figure out which should be my priority. really the only reason i am asking is i am wondering if pvp tier 1 will just be a waste of gold because i'll find so much gear raiding.

well it depends, youll get certin types of gear raiding and certin types of PvP gear, hell when you get the rank of 7 (which ever faction you might be) and have nothing esle to spend gold on, training, respecing (just repaired) and you have a good 200g left which you can get easy from raiding for like a week, bo buy some gear with it then PvP to all hell, not a lot of people go ooooo shiny when they see PvP gear unless there a High warlord / Grand Mashall next to it but when people see tier 1 and above they all go oooo shiny and try it on. But really its youe personall oppinion blood, you you want to get to 60 and raid or do you want to PvP and make crazy ass video, its all personal perference and i don't think any one here, should persuade you.
