Just open the .exe and leave the plack box open.

It doesn't stay open, thats the problem. I click on it and it closes. I looked on edge of nowhere and it said you needed to install winpcap which I did, but it still does not work. Ideas?

I don't have wincap, maybe thats your problem, get rid of it.

I used it without wincap, didn't work either so thats why I downloaded it, even after the download it still didn't work.

Try using d2loader, if that doesnt work, try talking ot Sheppard on his IRC channel.

Yep, that was the problem I needed d2loader, the exe stays up but it tells me to "Select the number of the adapter to open" And i'm totally lost. confused:

I think if you load MSDOS then open it from there it'll work.

You COULD get banned, but sheppard says it is basically the same as his autoaim, which has been out for a long time and still "safe".

I got it to work but sometimes the game crashes when it picks up an item, I wonder why that could be.

MSDOS is the "Command Prompt" you can access it by Going Start > All Programs > Accesories > Command Prompt
