Um, well, fire seems to be the worst. But if you're running a sorc with infinity, you can't go wrong with lightening.

light sorc is best in hell imo, takes away most light immunes with infinity pardon lister and such and kills much faster than all of the other elements.

I disagree i feel light would also be the best for pvp, regardless of the gear on athe opposeing sorc, as long as the light sorc is outfitted properly.

. I disagree, I've killed countless fire sorcs, with supposed "GGZOMGZORZL334" gear, without a problem. A simple 4 socket 5/5 light facet sheild usually does the trick, along with a griffons, and I'd be willing to prove my point if i need to with anyone willing.

Why fire is better than light:
a) avarage damage > huge damage gap in PvP
b) splash damage
c) better range
d) reduced FHR by 1 frame
Need more justifications? I'd love to prove you wrong, but I probably play a different realm (Europe) and I don't have a fire sorc at the moment.

A)My light sorc can withstand in general three fire blasts, i guarentee any fire sorc wouldn't take 3 lightning blasts and live.
B) what does splash damage have to do with anything? WHat you gonna fire it next to me let it hit an invisible pocket and have it explode next to me? Unless the sorc is up against the wall, pointless
C) The average range of a fire ball is 1.5 times as long as lightning strike, i can live with that, unless your useing maphack, or auto-aim.
D) At a lightning sorcs peak fcr it casts an endless stream of lightning, take a strike and see if you have time too recover from another one? No.
But all in all, this is my opinion, educated by the fact that I've seen only a couple fire sorcs that can even kill me, id gladly give you the gear and a perfected stats fire sorc on east to play against my lightning sorc if you wish, i'll even give you the choice of gear if needed.
