I know there have been many posts regarding this dupe, but I can't seem to get it to work at all. My friend and I are following the guide word to word, but we can't seem to get the necromancer in a second game. Usually our dupe games would last around 30-50 minutes without a single success. How long would a dupe usually last for you guys?
I've also followed donkulous' method of teleporting under the lag once it appears, however, we would still have a fail to join. After failing to join the second game after teleporting, do we teleport back to our original spot? or do we stand where we are and spam there some more?
After failing at that method, we tried spamming until the invisible area reached us. However, we would still get a fail to join message when attempting to join the second game.
If there is anyone who can help us, or possibly guide us through the proccess, we would greatly appreciate the help. If you can, please post, or contact me in game at aznskillzboi-mf on W/L/SC.

Well I don't know about West but in East, me(fire sorc) and my friend(necro) we can do it in about 15 mins average.We always do the same thing and usually I can join the second game in 2 tries. First time we tried the dupe I tried teleporting into the invisible wall and we failed. Any other time we didn't teleport and it worked fine every time.
This is how we do it, we move close to each other, necro starts spamming, sorc meteors over both characters( I just hold right click not moving the mouse at all), after 10 mins I try to create game with necro n.2(which was waiting at the title screen). First try always fails,then I tell my friend to slow down the spamming,we wait 5 mins(I use my timer on my watch) and try again,usually it works , only once it took a third try.
We did this 2 times yesterday, good luck.
BTW if second try fails, try every 3 minutes,no less. I wait 3:30.

Alright, we're not going to teleport anymore. We tried your method, and didn't move at all, but it didn't work as well. The invisible wall appeared at the bottom and gradually came its way to the top, but after some time ( I think it was between the second ftj and third ), the invisible wall made its down again; the bonewalls started to reappear again, but our bodies were invisible.
Also, does talking in game affect the dupe in any way? While duping, my friend and I tell each other the time to stop spamming and I'll join a game.
Is it possible if I could join someone in their duping session to observe how they're duping? I can observe on east as well.

Well I got no idea,We did it again 3 times yesterday and it worked fine. We even broke our record; got it in 10 mins which is when I try for the first time to create 2nd game. Also when you say "the bonewalls started to reappear again, but our bodies were invisible" did you keep spamming? Last try yesterday we had to spam for 20 mins(slowest dupe run so far) and we were completely invisible and it still ftj.
I really don't know what your doing wrong, just keep up the spamming and dont try to create games too fast(you may have got fail-to-join tagged).
Oh and AFAIK talking doesn't affect at all, I was wondering the same thing when we failed for the first time. We talk about random stuff while spamming and it works fine(just don't stop spamming to talk,hold right click with right hand and type with left only).

Now-a-days it seems harder.. But hey I'm all done with game I think.. I'll just use my bots to run clan channel.. Kinda boring ever since this "really" became public.. I HATE the lag and so does alot of other ppl.. People should really stop.. I mean I could careless.. If I want no lag, i'll just stop playing.. Ever since 1.10 patch came out, game has become really retarded....
Screw it i'll just go back to diablo1, lol i bet most of u d2 junkies dont even know how to play it..

I'm personally getting really tired of all the duping. It kills the server I'm on, and it really upsets me when I'm trying uber level and the game gets messed up hardcore because of all the server lag.

Well when you fail to join a game, you gotta keep casting bone wall + meteoring until you can finally join a game. Don't stop until you turn invisible, just keep casting and when you finally can join a game, stop bone walling + meteoring.
The directions say that when you turn invisible, you can join a game but that isn't quite true. Just means it'll work if your invisible but you gotta wait for the game to desynch (meaning lag and rollback)

This dupe has been having low success rate since the realms are so laggy that you'll drop in a matter of seconds once you manage to lagg the game.

Well my duping ratio is like.. 4/6 tries.. So I think that is pretty good for useing no programs lol.. And im working with any map in a1.. My time is 10-15.. Which isnt long considering what im duping lol..

Thank you for all of the replies. I've manage to dupe a couple of times, but there's still something I'm having questions about.
When exactly do you guys know when to join? Is it when you get low fps, or high ping? So far, I've observed that it varies greatly. Once, we needed really low fps and moderately high ping (400-700), while at other times, the ping was low and high fps. Another, we didn't even need to be covered by the invisible wall at all.

I start create another game about 2 mins after i start to disappearing..Which most times is about 12-15 mins into game..
