whats up ladies and gentlemen, I happened to stumble across your site while researching pirce guides and noticed that people are still active here (i hardly play diablo 2 anymore) i figured i stop in and say hi.

past d2 exp - played at original release, quit after a while, played when lod was released, quit after a while Smile, played during .09 for the last bit, quit when 1.10 came out quit due to characters being wrecked due to synergies.

about 2 years ago a friend from my old town moved to the city where i live now and he had a d2 account, i still had all my old stuff (since i usually collaborated with my friends i had a fair amount of low quality uniques, he on the other hand was uber godly from switching over and having tons of runes.

he ended up having about 23 permd 3/20/20's which is pretty decent for a legit player IMO. So i played him for a bit and played an account i ended up giving away, we soon created a new account geeyouknit, in which we would create a array of characters.

(we currently only have a trapsin on the account :o:o) at around the same time i started ANNI hunting, which in turn started making us a lot of items. My friend from another town started botting on ladder and was developing carperal tunnel and asked me if i could help him out (trading items for runes) pretty much,
i would fill the inventory with item and trade it for a mal :o and i got to take whatever items i wanted Smile he then gave me a ladder sorc (which ended up expiring with a 197% eth hoz *tear*) and a few griefs and a few other nice ladder only items Sad

and i started using that one to anni hunt. Then the torch release came, i jumped into one of the public games with my beast of a BARB and my friends nice paly and got me a torch, got a free torch in a ladder game from a kid leaving his game (and i attended the anni hunting IRC so i had a trusted smite take them down for me.)
i traded that torch UNID for 25 sojs (first UNID torch traded on east SCL im pretty sure Smile) the hunt then started for keys. i lucked out in the IRC someone was offering 7 sojs per key (no joke) i would go into a game offering 1 soj for a hate and 2 for terror/destruction and make a killing. the price changed to 9 sojs per set,

and i changed my prices as well, so i still made myself a free set of keys everytime i traded plus an inventory full os SOJS. i became so rich at this point i got sick of the game, and ended up quitting just after i traded all my sojs and ladder reset.

(i got my necro to #9 on the ladder after reset ^^) now i played casually on the few characters i have (firesorc, frenzy barb, trapsin, mf sorc) but i don't find the game as fun as i used to, since my days of discovering a 20/20 perfect anni are slim to nil now Sad anyways sorry for the essay and anyone who actually read through this whole thing ! Smile


just figured i'd make myself known and give some backround information so people don't think im shady ! XD


ps. not that this makes me any more trust worthy, but irc trades were all done on the ground, and anyone who was there during that time can vouche for me on that one XD

well i know for a fact i was the first to trade it in IRC Smile and at the point you couldn't trade it through the inventory, thats why i am confident i was one of if not the first to trade one Smile

pretty much if i play now it is only to help a noob out or get a torch *which i end up giving away anyways* and thats about once a month, my friend keeps my accounts up to date, and he does a lot of dueling

omg, i was board enough to read this. well, i guess welcome and have a fun site.

man there was only 1 time where i got an anni,and that was when was board (see any similarites) and i went to a friends game, who just happened to be downstairs playing monopoly. diablo spwned and bam i got like a 20/17/8 anni.

thats a damn nice anni to find, my best were liek 20/20/5 and a 19/18/9 :o i traded most of them off as unid when would get them since they are worth more unid then as a 10/10/5 Smile

Well that was a really pointless post and added absolutely nothing to the thread other than showing off your GFX skills. Thank you for repeating what I said in my attempt to make fun of myself.
