well...this might be in the wrong area, but its an announcement to me!
IM SO PISSED YET SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!! THEY HAVE ANNOUNCED THE RELEASE OF WORLD OF WARCRAFT!!! YET IT'S GOING TO TAKE SO GOD DAMNED LONG!!! ON AMAZON.COM THEY SAY THAT THE GAME IS GOING TO BE RELEASED IN OCTOBER!!! MOTHER FREAKING OCTOBER!!! HOW AM I GOING TO LAST THAT LONG? HOW ARE YOU GOING TO LAST THAT LONG? THEY WERE PLANNING IT FOR EARLY THIS SUMMER, BUT OCTOBER? YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!
anyway, if you want to drool over it more, go to http://www.techtv.com/xplay/index.html/ and look for the movie. if you cant find the movie on it, then go to www.worldofwarcraft.com and somewhere in the near posts it will show a link to the movie. have fun and dont get your keyboard wet!!!

well actually nubli , have u checked the supposed release date on the other games blizzard has made and the actual time they were released almost EVERY1 has been delayed, look at the 1.10 patch for an example. So this will prob take ever longer than october, at least thats what i think

This is my DarkSkye style lol. I have a regular Skye style as well, but I prefer dark. Cos my name used to be DarkSkye when I started.

Actually D2 wasn't delayed. Blizz neve rdid release an ETA on WoW. Everyone was just getting excited and saying summer. The beta hasn't even concluded yet, so that was always unlikely.

but look on how long it took for 1.10, first we waited for almost 2 years, then the beta came, then after 3,5 months after the beta the final release came. Then we can almost double that with the consideration that this is their largest project ever , wow meaning
and tft was delayed too...

Definately their biggest project by far. But it looks to topple EverQuest on the MMORPG game table.
