Hey guys, does anyone know where to find info on the new Diablo 3 coming out by Blizzard Entertainment. If you do, either e-mail me or add me on MSN my e-mail is [email protected]
Also, I forgot to put something in that message. I was looking it up on YouTube, and Google. It's pretty different, Diablo 3 is. It's more anchient, and on YouTube I was looking up and they showed Warcraft? anxious:confused: It looks like Blizzard is starting to be better at keeping their games a secret. Haha, it's suposed to come out this summer of 2007. I hope it does because, Blizzard has come up with some pretty good games, especially how they got teamed up with Battle.Net. Without Battle.Net we wouldn't be meeting all the great people out their playing over Battle.Net. Alot of people Ive been talking to say when World Of Warcraft came out it was a big improvement, better features, better graphics. The one bad reason is that you have to pay monthly. I think they should have a yearly fee, they may be able to make some good money off that eh? I used to play Starcraft and Warcraft 3. I was into SC at one point but then I got back into Diablo. Warcraft 3 I sold to a local EB Games store because of the graphics. Alot of people say that Warcraft 3 was their favorite WC because you don't have to pay. So, in my words. I think Blizzard has improved ALOT in the past years. I have been playing Diablo almost, all my life. I was introduced to Diablo around when I was 7. I remember playing as a "warrior". Haha Ive been playing D2, and I think its a great game. I have lost some pretty good sets and items throughout the years of my Diablo experience. I used to have the Immortal King set for the barbarian, but I downloaded a fake maphack and they hacked it. I used to have the Tal Rasha's Set and I was messing around and I TOTALLY wish I didn't. I was being an idiot and I put the set in trade and kept pressing accept and the one time I did it they accepted and left the game. I recently just lost my account I leveled the characters MYSELF. I used to always be rushed and everything but I figured out, "whats the point in being rushed? Than your technicly not beating the game." I used to help other people and give them some spare items. I had a level 79 assassin and a level 56 sorceress. I deleted Diablo off my computer and I forgot the password, I sure miss it. I was going to make a paladin or a barbarian but then, for some reason I got IP banned but I hope I get it all straightened out. So please post me some Diablo 3 preview links if you can, thank you.

Apparently, Blizzard recently made a statement about their upcoming products and a representative said that they had not forgotten about Diablo and Starcraft fans. Link? None. Heard this from my brother.
edit: Just asked him. Apparently it was mentioned in one of Gamespot's podcasts.

What Was Promised
The quintessential dungeon-crawler has devoured hundreds of hours from the lives of gamers. Considering the success of Diablo, it was a no-brainer that the title would see a third installment at some point in the future. It has been more than six years since the release of Diablo II and Blizzard remains relatively quiet about the future of the franchise. Rumors over the past year hint that Diablo 3 could be another MMO. Blizzard has announced that it is working on a new MMO, and said it would be quite different from WOW. It's not clear, however, if the upcoming MMO is a new IP or based on either the Diablo or StarCraft universe.
Where It Stands
Don't fret, another Diablo game is in the hopper. This according to numerous high-ranking executives at Blizzard who have, over the past six months, assured in various interviews that the Diablo series would live on. It began at the German Games Convention in 2006, when Blizzard COO Paul Sims assured fans that the company's popular franchise had not been forgotten. "As you probably already know, there is no doubt that we will continue the StarCraft and Diablo franchise," Sims told IGN.
However, don't get too excited. As Blizzard VP Itzik Ben Bassat recently told the crowd at a London WOW: The Burning Crusade launch event, " We cannot wait to be here in a few years, or however long it will be" to announce Diablo 3. "It's won't be a decade," he promised. Meaning either that Diablo 3 would be out by 2010 (ten years after the release of Diablo 2) or that it would be out by 2017, within ten years of the WOW expansion launch. But hey, at least it's coming!

With Blizzard you never know, you all are wasting your time speculating dates.
Blizzard is slow at making games and they haven't even produced a screenshot for Diablo 3 yet, that means it is still years of development away.
It probably won't be out by 2010, even if they list it as an original release date. They will probably spend over 5 years on it.

I won't count on anything... Look what happened to SC:Ghost. Blizzard doesn't care about Diablo fans anymore, if they did then they would stop the duping on Bnet. Don't believe everything high ranking officials tell you.

well blizzard do care, diablo clone was specially made to get rid of the duped sojs.. diablo 3 will surely come out, it was finished in 2005 but blizzard north closed down so blizzard took over it and let the developers continue working on it, sure they are using all their money on WoW but thats cuz the players are paying for it.. there will be a diablo 3, u can even pre-order the game in shops, but there is no date ofcourse. theyve come to far to shut down development, if there was absolutly no chance of diablo they would have stoped after the producer got to see the story line etc, and therefor no diablo 3 talks.

Dclone was introduced like 3 or 4 years ago. What are they doing now? NOTHING. That is my point they have no interest in Diablo as it is right now or else they would do something about the dupes. The only reason Warden exists is to keep banning people so they will buy the game again. My guess these people are people like you who actually think Blizzard still cares about Diablo. They don't man, what have they done about the dupes in the last year? Nothing. Until they do something then this will be a pointless conversation to have because they have proven they are content with ruining what was a good game at one point. Point made.

It's been talked about for years, I've given up hope that it will come out. If it does then awesome, but if it doesn't I've pretty much already accepted it lol so no biggie.

Response to the edited first post: They really released a gameplay video or just a Cinematic? Cinematics don't mean squat if thats all it was, I doubt Blizzard is putting effort into anything besides WoW. I thought they lost all their Diablo programmers to NCsoft.

LMAO Way to look to the future, Spitfire.
I hope they will do a D3 eventually, but I kinda doubt it will ever happen. Even if it does it will probably go the way of so many games nowadays that require godly badass computers and graphics cards to play them.
