The "You are 2000th is line to create a game" thing was due to botting, not the dupers. Unless you were just referring to that in general and not specifically to the botting.



I feel as though I can't vote in this pole because the choices are completly stupid. It's not a simple yes or no question, it's Yes or I'm an idiot duper. What about the people that think the economy is fine and don't dupe?

Let's face it, Diablo is OLD and the reason people still play it is because it's fun to be overpowered with duped itms. If there was a ladder reset tommorow and every glitch/abuse/dupe was fixed the drop of ppl would be massive. Who the hell would keep going knowing he can NEVER have the gear they had unless they invest 10x times they did before to get it!

The argument about duping harming innocents is silly. Most diablo 2 noobs play for fun and will never EVER find a HR to trade or even get close to the level legit players where 1 year ago. And they don't really care either. In my personal experience duping and the excess of itms it created helps those noobs with free itms and making itms in general CHEAPER. F.e. I give away full tals to naps, just to hear a thnx. In a legit universe noone would ever do that, cause Tal would still be de zhit!

Also let's not forget that when duping wasn't so at large half the builds weren't playable. Combat classes can't make it without the TOP runewords and top runewords can't exist without duping.

My final advice is to keep duping controlled. Don't scam ppl by selling them dupes, try to make legit RWs, cube runes etc. Give some of the wealth for free. When someones gives u a LEGIT itm, raise ur offer 1-2 HRs. Don't overlag the servers just to dupe 1 arach for ur new soso. Keep it as low as possible and most of all, play the game instead of just duping/selling...
