If you want D3 check out Hellgate: London. It's practically D3 since it's pretty much the same team as D2.

or that d2 minature - Fate
or that d2 on crack - Oblivion

Neither, and Oblivion is nothing like D2. It's basically first person with guns n such in a more modern post apocalyptic world.

i didnt say you should get it, it was just a suggestion. oh and thats why i said d2 on crack, it actually has a lot in common from what i see.

The only thing it has in common is it's an RPG based in a mystic medieval style world. The Elder Scrolls games are nothing like the Diablo games.

sure, sure. take a second look at it. it has a lot more in common than just that. Besides i was mostly referring to oblivion, i havent even saw the others.

Ok, I have Oblvion and Diablo 1+2. I don't see where this link is? Diablo is a very cookie cutter RPG it has all the basic elements, though done in a creative style. Oblivion is much more in depth, as are all the Elder Scrolls games.

do you not know what i mean when i say this?
oblivion has a lot of those same basic elements and some are nearly the same.

I don't think it's D2 on crack it's nothing like D2 in game play, story, or pretty much any way other than genre.

I sure wish this picture was real - D3 - Ragnarhox - 03-09-2007

Yeah, oblivion is really nothing like d2. They both have swords and magic, just like most rpgs, not much of a similarity. Only thing you could consider the same is the fact that in d2 you go to hell, to kill diablo, and in TES:IV you go to oblivion which is like that worlds hell.

fine, you guys would never understand it, im done fighting.

I sure wish this picture was real - D3 - schmidz - 03-09-2007

i see where bluebleeder is goingn with this...
but maybe D2 on speed would be better??

although i never played TES:Oblivion first hand, i did spend several times watching a 'friend' play mad:

Diablo I and II = Hack n' slash
Oblivion = half-assed RPG, like the rest of TES series.

The 2 don't have anything in common.
