I have some ilvl questions - Ragnarhox - 03-09-2007 Just several questions, about ilvls, put into one thread. 1) What are ilvls of Shenk, eldritch, pindleskin, and lister? Is it higher since there super uniques or are they the same as there respected normal version of them? And yes, I checked The Arreat Summit, but they don't list lvls of all super uniques. 2) What are the ilvl of gambled items? Is it half the char lvl or something similar to that? 3) What is a program to let you check the ilvl of items? I know there's one somewhere in the dl section, but is it safe to use on close battle.net? Thanks. I have some ilvl questions - schmidz - 03-09-2007 i'm not sure what you mean by "ilvl" but i think stings with plugins did that. I think it would show the level of the monster, but its been over 6 months since i used it. I have some ilvl questions - Exorcise - 03-09-2007 Ilvl (Item Level) is a numberic value assigned to each item when it is dropped, based on the Mlvl (Monster Level). So if a fallen with the Mlvl of 10 drops a club, the club will have an Ilvl of 10. If I'm not mistaken, the higher the Ilvl is, the more properties an item can possibly have. 1) I would assume you are asking for their Mlvl in Hell difficulty: Shenk the Overseer - 83 Eldritch the Rectifier - 84 Pindleskin - 86 Lister the Tormentor - 88 Super unique monsters like the one you mentioned and bosses do not keep the Arealvl as their Mlvl. To go into more depth, the Arealvl (Area Level) is a set of number given to an area specifically. Example such as cold plain with the Arealvl of 15 will spawn fallens, zombies, and any other regular monsters with the Mlvl of 15. 2) Gambling is based on your Clvl (Character Level), it also determines what sort of items you can purchase and what Ilvl it will attain. The formula for calculating the Ilvl of a gambled item is Clvl - 5 through +4. Suppose your character is level 86 and you gambled a circlet, this means the Ilvl could be in the range of 81 (86-5) through 90 (86+4). 3) The determined Ilvl on an item cannot be seen anywhere without some sort of hack/program. I have some ilvl questions - Ragnarhox - 03-10-2007 I know that there are plug ins for some mhs for showing ilvls but I don't think plug ins are safe for open. But, if a program was to only the games memory, something made to read ilvls, then would it be caught by blizzard, as if they cared. Thanks for the info exorcise I have some ilvl questions - Ragnarhox - 03-10-2007 I was just on the thread, and that part is more or less speculation since it seems no one has used an ilvl program, or mentioned one. I mainly just wanted to know for crafting. But since my char is 92 Ill be fine. I'll only need an item of 50+ to get all affixes. (.5 x clvl)+(.5 x ilvl)= Crafted Items lvl. So, .5*92+.5*50= 46+25= 71. 71 is min for all affixes I think. You mean if the (.5*clvl+.5*ilvl) is higher, right? Not just my level. I have some ilvl questions - Nex - 03-10-2007 can one of you tell me where pindle skin is? im kinda noob at monsters in d2, i always thought when people were referring to pindle it was a pindlebot. soory its a bit offtopic buts its not worth making a new thread over. also i was wondering if D could drop hoz's aswell. I have some ilvl questions - Exorcise - 03-11-2007 Pindleskin is located inside the red portal near Anya in Act 5.
