Do you wanna know how the shops dupe there items? - Jazon - 05-10-2007 Hello all, ....i have to admit i dont know it for the 100%, but i know alot of how they do it and what you need for it. First...maybe you know (or not ofc) there are some shops out here selling items (perf items) who are permed, as in non-poofable, by the dozens of them. Like perf griff 20-15-260 with a quantitie of 40+ in store. Now you would ask, how they can be all permed? Well...the theory is very simple, they use an packet sender programm that grabs the package send to the client when a monster dies, and transform it somehow into another package with the codes for the perf items/runes/charms, so if the monster is dead he will dropp all the items they want...and because the monster dropped it, the server thinks they are new/legit and give them all an unique item tag. And thadada....you have created ur own item legit and tagged and all. Thats the theory i surely know they are using, but now comes to the real part. To make such a program or just use it will need very much skills in this world. Thats why i am writing this in the hope some1 can look into this and maybe make/create a program for this. Let me know how this turns out guys Thx and greetz Jazon Do you wanna know how the shops dupe there items? - Kyle Destroyer - 05-10-2007 Have fun getting banned, packet sending isn't advisable. Do you wanna know how the shops dupe there items? - Ragnarhox - 05-10-2007 I'm pretty sure packet sending gets you banned rather quick. I hope if anyone does make a program after your post that they keep it private(to themselves). Do you wanna know how the shops dupe there items? - Spasm - 05-10-2007 The server calculates what kind of item and the item's stats when a monster dies. Nothing is done on the client side. The only packet that gets sent when an item drops is to tell the client to display the animation. And sending packets is way more safe than altering memory, as long as you send valid packets. But it is not client side sending, imo they stop the packets sends to the client before it is recieved by the client, transform it somehow and sends it further to the client. Dont ask me how this can work, i only heared of this and it is making sence to me for the stocks of same items with unique id tags. Do you wanna know how the shops dupe there items? - Neoathlon - 05-30-2012 a few months prior to 1.10 i had a friend with a dupe program, could sell anything he wanted to charsi then run the program and her inventory would fill up with multiples of that item(worked best with accesories cause she had more room for them to populate), we did this with probably 500+ sojs, i had a few mules full of them when the 1.10 patch hit and the "rust storm" was supposed to delete all duped items, they all lasted at least a few months past that until i took a break from the game and let all my characters expire. if i had to guess i would say that the program he used was somehow re-sending the packets to the server making it think he sold multiples of whatever he had sold, the items were now up for sale at the vendor and created a new unique id when purchased. now, i'm not aware of anything that works currently, and with bots being as advanced as they are, i can see the shops just running a dozen or so bots and building up an inventory of perfect items rather quickly. |
