HI, i have made an item and when i equip it my life never fully goes back up, stays at about 3000. Why is that?

If you have your total life over 32768, then there is a bug in the display of the D2 health globe, so the globe will not fill up. However, your total life will be correct. So, don't worry about it -- when you heal, your life will fill up to the maximum, even though your globe will not show it.
In fact, you should try to get your total life to somewhere between 4M and 8M. Don't get your life too much over 8M, or you will die easily from low damages. (BTW, maximum possible life is 8388607, after which your life will roll back to 1.)
