Usergroup Legend Added. - Spitfire - 09-29-2007

Need new members first :p Doesn't seem to be many ppl on the forums posting lately.

Usergroup Legend Added. - Nex - 09-29-2007

yeah i have been seeing that aswel, myself and most other members havn't been too active recently. im just lazy Tongue i still the forum.

Usergroup Legend Added. - Spitfire - 09-29-2007

The place would probably be more 'alive' if it had a more committed admin. I'm busy with IRL things lately. Like my gf and I moving house next friday :/

Usergroup Legend Added. - John - 09-30-2007

the forums have been dead lately. i look and there were like 20 new posts in a day. does legend status really show anything? if its anything like invisible did, its just giving away all of your d2 items and kissing peoples a55es for rep.

Usergroup Legend Added. - Fuggle - 09-30-2007

Either you don't understand what a Usergroup Legend means or you are bringing up a completely random point.

Usergroup Legend Added. - The Mob - 10-01-2007

is it just by coincidence that all of the names have a halo like feel to them? "the high council" lol

Usergroup Legend Added. - Lux Aeterna - 10-01-2007

Luke, mind posting the post count for each ? Smile

Usergroup Legend Added. - magik - 10-01-2007

Woah, really?

It'd probably be more active if D2 was a more popular game Tongue

Usergroup Legend Added. - Pamela - 10-02-2007

I just found where this was in the users. It is better than when new members were"Too scared to post" category.

I log into about 50+ new posts at the beginning of each day. So either there are some off days, or you just log in every other hour.

well, we r not getting any new members bc there is nothing new getting posted, Diablo is almost died and guest come here and see nothing but retardation. ive been online almost everyday and all i see is the same thing over and over, time to star spamming other sites off there information and bring it here so this is the place to be and not that other place... hummm im give it a try.....

Usergroup Legend Added. - Aemaeth - 10-22-2007

We need to move with the current gaming scene more, And if anything is going to get done about it we need a more serious attitude towards stuff.
I've been thinking about doing reviews for games, Maybe Set up a few NON d2 tournies and specific game nights, anyone?

Usergroup Legend Added. - The Mob - 10-22-2007

blasphemy!!!
lol
i agree. we have to innovate to survive. but the problem is alot of us (me included) are too resistant to change. like we dont want to relearn how to play a whole new game like w0w or warhammer

Usergroup Legend Added. - Pamela - 10-23-2007

Well this thread certainly evolved. Learning a new game is not so much the problem,as the age and wanning popularity of D2.
When I was first kidnapped to the site...most Moderators were in thier low teens,or not EVEN in their teens yet.
Luke had just turned 17 and Alfsie was 12....we have grown huge and popular, and Luke has been very inovative in 2 key ways that has made us succesfull.

He is not afraid to incorperate new games/ideas/changes...this is reflected in how different we are now compared to how we started.

The second most important factor being this...Luke actually CARES what his members think.
I honestly can not tell you the hours he has spent picking my brain for ideas,or showing me various set-ups.He READS help and suggestions,he doesn't blow off what we think, and learns from our debates what is popular to most of us.

Most of us nowadays are busy with jobs, school, families. I still promote the site to anyone I speak to in real life as well as my many internet pals.
Anyone that has played FFXI with me for the past 4 years knows EXACTLY where my home site is.
I do not know how many points I have now,but used to give them away to others in need.

So...what I have is the ability to add to your reputation. If you want to forge your way into Legend status...make helpful tutorials, answer members questions,RECRUIT...ahem...and above all be active and POST.(Yes sexy Jedi...I am talking to you)
Bring people to the site...point out to me members you think are outstanding.Send PMs with suggestions/ideas!

I would like to see rep points in username info like it used to be.
I would like to see posted in FAQ,what the requirements are ,both in post count and Rep points, to graduate to each status.
I would like for Legends to be able to add Rep to members, and negative Rep abolished.(We will TELL you if you are retarded...really...we will)

Now time for a little feedback.

First, long quote, too tired to cut out certin points.
Second,
Quote: I would like to see rep points in username info like it used to be.

Agree 100%.... simple as that. (Pam, love the FAQ part... you know I'm really into that, I do it at any site I'm active on, shit I have a 56 page FAQ / Guide for one of my sites right now on my notepad.. lol =P, glad to see at least one person liked my old, but simple, FAQ.)

Also, I like how you mentioned that Luke actually CARES about the forum that has EVOLVED over the years. I remember being here in the first six months or so after it was made, that I joined....

Anyways.. good point, I believe there should be a seperate thread made on just Pamela's previous / quoted post. G'night.
