Useful for connecting to a wireless hot spot in your college. The modem is for directly connecting to internet. Such as via modem, or phone jack. However 56 kbps is extremely slow. Which is around 2.5 Mbps. Costing $24. Port Connectivity - kevsthabest - 10-02-2007 i currently have 600kbs (avergage. seen hitting 700) so about 5Mbs for 45$ canadian... that includes a long distance plan tho..
