So yeh, not only is today my birthday, but it is my 21st
I am by no means a drinker or one who has involved themselves with underage drinking, but my fam and I (and gf) were gunna go out to a restaraunt for dinner, so I was thinking for tradition sake to get a drink; fun...
So yeh, I will take cookies as gifts, and cold hard cash (I'm a college student after all = poor).2thumbsup

That's why I cannot stand the U.S. I grew up in Switzerland, where you can start drinking at 16 (for beer and wine, 18 for spirits).

Thanks all. I'm not the drinker type (as I said before), but I did have a drink with dinner. Yes, it was some kind of drink that had fruit and alcohol (I think some kind of Bacardi or some kinda rum). I realize one could call me a girl because it had fruit and alcohol, but I didn't want something that would taste nasty or whatever. Plus, I'm the one with the banstickzorz. Haha, just messin around.
After dinner I had a movie date with my gf (we watched Airplane because she got it for me and it is a great movie). Also, I got a new digital camera from my parents, and a voice recorder from my sister (I write for my college paper so it helps with interviews). Also a cookie cake, so I have something to eat while writing papers at 2 in the morning. 'Twas a good day overall, and now I'm legal funnn.
Anywho, thanks all for the birthday wishes. As it is no longer my birthday (yay, I get to take care of plenty of Facebook wall messages), I shall go ahead and close this. Thanks again all, now I can go back to being a ghost on this site.
