Blizzard explains more changes to come in WoW patch 2.4 - Spitfire - 02-13-2008

[Image: wowlogo-icon-01_qjgenth.jpg?728609]After Blizzard's release of the 2.4.0 PTR for World of Warcraft, the general cry on everyone's lips was: "That's it?" Many players on the WoW forums have been complaining that the list of changes released in the latest patch falls surprisingly short of the expected number everybody has been looking forward to over the past few months.

However, Blizzard Poster Nethaera had some good news for those disappointed players who were expecting more. She explained that the latest 2.4.0 patch notes were still subject to change either by adding, removing, or changing any of the items listed during the current testing phase.

This will be the new trend that the developers will be implementing from now on: extensively testing the patch and adding to it progressively as time goes on. She then explained that there will still be lots of room for improvement and that players should be generous with their feedback regarding the new patch.

Here's a direct quote of what Nethaera posted on the WoW forums:

With the release of patch 2.4.0 for testing, many players have questioned whether or not this is the extent of changes for this patch. Please be aware that we have changed how we are developing and testing this patch by adding to it progressively. What this means for players is that more additions, changes and even the possibility of removals can occur as the patch is tested. The current patch notes will be changing over time and are not finalized in their current incarnation. We have more planned for this patch and would ask everyone to please feel free to test the new changes as we go and provide feedback.
